Fox Creek Farm is located in Gallupville (Schoharie County). Sara and Raymond Luhrman are the farmer/owners. They have planted, cultivated, harvested and sold commercial horticulture crops since 2003.

We use organic farming practices (but are not certified organic). Our goal is to operate a environmentally and economically sustainable farm, which provides a decent income for the farmers and the farm workers. By embracing the CSA model, we have been able sell almost all our crops farm direct: a better solution for both the consumer and the farmers!

We’ve got a strong core of CSA members – some of whom have been with us from the small beginnings. By carefully listening to our members, we continuously adjust our farm plan to meet the tastes of most. And most importantly, with the slow growth in farm size, we managed to keep up the very high quality of produce we give to our CSA members. We must be doing something right: our membership retention rate is around 70%, which is well above the average CSA farm.

With over 400 CSA members, we are one of the bigger CSA farms in the area.
