Use your SNAP benefits to get the freshest, tastiest vegetables from local Hudson Valley farmers.
How it works
There is no upfront payment for you as a SNAP customer, but you can help support your farmer by committing to buying weekly shares for the full season, usually about 20-24 weeks from June through November.
-
Step 1: Contact one of the participating farms listed below.
-
Step 2: Make sure the farm knows that you would like to use your SNAP benefits to pay when you sign up. Some farms reserve shares for SNAP customers, although other shares may be sold out.
-
Step 3: Pay weekly with your EBT card and at a 50% discount when you pick up your share from the farm or the designated distribution site in your community. Shares range in cost from $15-$25 per week for about 8-10 items (a $30-$50 value).
