Downing Park Urban Farm

The Downing Park Urban Farm (DPUF) is a part of the Newburgh Urban Farm and Food Initiative. Once the site of the Downing Park greenhouses, today the DPUF is a vibrant community space exploding with life.  The DPUF offers community members the opportunity to learn how to plant, grow, and harvest fresh food and flowers in urban spaces. The 2-acre site is dedicated to growing fresh food for our city wide donation program, hosting education in urban agriculture, and our small retail program.

We have an in-season (May-November) retail program of What's Fresh on the Farm every week, Saturday's from 9 am - 1 pm.

Fresh Bags can be pre-ordered weekly thru our signup link sent out weekly to our subscribers.
