Ironwood Farm
Ironwood Farm is the collaboration of two women business partners. We are a Certified Organic vegetable operation with specialty crops that include winter greens, shoots, a variety of herbs, and ginger. We operate a 8.5-acre vegetable farm in Ghent, NY, and you can also find our produce at the Rhinebeck Farmers Market and in many stores and restaurants around the Hudson Valley.
This year our CSA will feature a robust pick-your-own flower garden, with 18 different flower varieties... in addition to abundant sunflowers in our overcrop fields. We also offer add-ons throughout the season from farmer friends, such as blueberries from Whistle Down Farm! CSA pick up in 2023 is at our farm in Ghent, NY, just outside of Philmont. All of our crops are fresh picked for CSA and we prioritize our members to get the best of what we're growing. Throughout the season you can anticipate many different types of salad greens (arugula, our spicy mix, baby lettuces, head lettuce), cooking greens (kale, collards, spinach, broccoli raab), cabbage, broccolini, herbs (cilantro, dill, parsley, thyme, rosemary, fennel), tomatoes (so many kinds!), zucchini and summer squash, cucumbers, carrots, beets, potatoes, winter squash, garlic (including scapes!), a variety of fresh and storage onions, and so many more treats to look forward to. Our food is always fresh and vibrant, and we love feedback from our members throughout the season!
We see ourselves as active participants in the stewardship and care of our larger ecosystem; we grow food through partnership with other living organisms. We want to care for people through food and aim to create a workspace that is loving, respectful and fun, where people can be full humans and grow in capacity. We also see ourselves as contributors to and supporters of the community of small agriculture based businesses in the Hudson Valley.

Ironwood Farm On-Farm pick up includes the opportunity to walk around the farm, pick flowers, and we often have a food truck where you can order dinner to go!
