Poughkeepsie Farm Project

On our member-supported farm, in the City of Poughkeepsie, we grow fresh vegetables & fruit for our CSA, train future farmers, provide hands-on educational programs, and work to improve equitable access to healthy locally-grown food, in part by donating 20% of our harvest (about 40,000 lbs) to local emergency food providers.

Poughkeepsie Farm Project began in 1999 as a small community farm with 15 CSA members and a commitment to education and food justice. Twenty years later we cultivate 15 acres for a 500+ member CSA, are leaders in cutting edge practices in sustainable agriculture, and grow year-round though the use of state-of-the-art greenhouses.
