Sugarshack Mushrooms

Sugarshack Mushrooms is a year-round mushroom farm in New Paltz, NY. Specializing in growing gourmet and medicinal specialty mushrooms in the forest and  in our historic barn and passive solar greenhouse.

We also focus on producing high quality mushroom tinctures, spawn for home-garden scale mushroom growing, grow-your-own mushrooms kits and seasonal mushroom growing workshops.

Land Acknowledgment

Sugarshack mushrooms  is an uninvited guest on the stolen indigenous lands of the Esopus [es-SOAP-es] tribe which is part of the Munsee speaking Lenni-Lenape people. Their lands include what we now refer to as Ulster and Sullivan counties.

Season

Join the Sugarshack CSA [community supported agriculture]! As a member you receive the discounted price of $15/lb. for a mixture of our seasonally available mushrooms. It’s the best way to get a taste of the rotating varieties we grow. The shares include a mix of our seasonal varieties: oyster, shiitake, black pearl, king oyster, chestnut and lions mane.

Pick up options:
Members can select how often to pick up their shares. Share pickups are available weekly or every other week (bi-weekly).

Options for pick up or delivery:

    -Rhinebeck Pick up Sundays 10:30 - 12pm in the Municipal Parking Lot

    -Pick up at Beacon Farmers Market Sundays 10 - 2: December - April

    -Wednesdays - Farm pick up day

    -Thursdays - Free local delivery to the New Paltz area (zip codes 12528, 12561)


**Pickups will continue throughout the winter in Rhinebeck until the Farmers Market reopens in May!


*pickup policy: Orders which were not picked up without any notice given are non- refundable, 24hr notice is required to be granted a credit.

*1 month share price includes a $10 processing fee.

Quantity:
Half share: 2lb./month [$30/month]
Full share: 4lb./month [$60/month]
Family share: 8lb./month [$120/month]
